Here in Singapore the regulations prohibits the following to be brought ashore: chewing gum, tobacco or imitation tobacco products, pistol or revolver shaped cigarette lighters, controlled drugs or psychotropic substances, endangered species and their by-products, firecrackers, obscene articles or videos, and reproductions of copyrighted materials. Singapore’s rules are tough. Jaywalkers are fined on the spot. Drop litter and you pay a fine. If convicted of drug trafficker can expect a death sentence.
I just thought this was interesting.
We took a cab to a spot where we could catch the Hop On and Hop Off bus. The bus company had three different routes. The first one we took was to see some of the buildings in Singapore.
This is called the Merlion. We could see this from our veranda.
After the first bus tour, we got off and had lunch. Then we went on the Singapore Flyer.
