Dennis and I thought that the invitation we had to the
“Suite Event” meant that we were going on a kitchen tour. We ended up having lunch in the galley of the kitchen area.
The captain came on the intercom in the evening and told us that we were not going to Koror, Palau. First of all we had never even heard of the island called Palau until we came on this trip. The captain said that there was a problem with docking at the pier. I guess when our ship was getting everything ready for our arrival at Palau, they found out that port had sky rocketed the cost way pass what had been agreed before.
We have just kept sailing and will be in Manila an extra day. A lot of the crew were excited about this because many of them have family coming to see them.
