This day almost felt like a holiday because so many of the crew had family and friends on the ship.
We had a tour in the morning and unfortunately it was raining pretty hard. The first place we went to was the Rizal Park.
We went to an old fort.
It was raining so much that dad thought it would be fun to take a ride.
We drove to the San Augustin Church and a museum.
We drove pass a open market but this was not a place visitors would want to shop. Even a lot of locals did not dare to shop there. My pictures are through the bus window and the rain.
After we retuned to the ship we looked at some of the shops located on the pier. One boy there helping his family was having his 12th birthday. He made me homesick for our grandkids.
The activities around the ship was bigger than any other port we have been to.
The captain was having his picture taken with the mayor.
We were happy to be on our way. It just felt strange to have to have so much security everywhere we went. There was always a little worry in the back of your mind. (There was a smell that came in the air before we ever reached the port.)
