Thank goodness for sea days! We really need one after such a busy few days.
Our hearts are still tender after spending the day in Jerusalem yesterday. We feel so blessed to get to go there because it was not even scheduled for the World Cruise Trip. It took the place of one of the days we were suppose to go to Egypt.
We will use today to get ready for the next three days with ports. We will be in Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey tomorrow. We will stay over night there. This will be our first time there. Dennis is really excited about it. We have tried to go there at least two other cruises and the ships were not allowed to go. Of course one of those times the captain wouldn’t let the port pilot take us in. The captain crashed into the pier wiping out the pier and putting a sixteen foot hole in the ship. For some reason they wouldn’t let us stay. The other time had to do with safety reasons.
The third day will be Piraeus (Athens), Greece. (We hope that we can find “THE BIG SHIP”. Family joke.)
I hope to catch the whole show of Harry Potter on our TV today. The ship is having Mongolian Cookout for lunch out on the Lido Deck.
