This time we are tour with John and Mary Ann Evans. Pompeii is about 14 miles from where we have our ship docked. The bus takes us to the entrance of Pompeii where we get out.

We get taken to the shopping store first. This gentleman is working on a cameo. They are all hand made.
Now we are moving on to Pompeii.
Pompeii was an important business center for the country at that time. Herculaneum that was a nearby city was also covered in the same terrible eruption.
