The Colosseum was built in 72 A.D.
The Arch of Constantine.
We took the bus to go have lunch. We were a little concern when they had to pull back a curtain to let us in.
The food was great and it was fun being with John and Mary Ann Evans on the tour. Dennis was feeling so much better. We are not sure why the breathing problems hit. He was able to finish the tour but took it slow. Our port guide kept a good watch for him.
We are now on a bus ride going towards the Vatican.

The Castel Sant’ Angelo was first built as a mausoleum in 124 A.D. But after many changes caused by wars it now as been rebuilt as a refuge for the Popes.
First we go into the Vatican Museums. I wished that we could have slowed down and really taken our time but our guide pushed us a long. (All of the guides moved their groups a long at the rate.) With the mass of people going through at the same time, it was a miracle that no one in our group got lost.
