"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -Mark Twain

We just followed Aladin through the markets that each quarter had.

The Church Of The Holy Sepulchre is where other Christians believe it was where Jesus was crucified on this spot, and his tomb is believed to be found.

We would just follow Aladin and try and take it all in as we walked.

We stopped for lunch in what he called the “Aladin Cave”.  In other words, all the tourists were on the outside hunting for a place to sit down and he had this special place inside waiting for us.

Tourists are not allowed to go up to the area of the Dome of the Rock any more.  In the year 2000 there was some kind of problem up there and 87 people were killed.  Here is picture from a book to show what it would look like.IMG_5124 (Small)

We are now in the Jewish Quarter.

We had an appointment at The Garden Tomb at 2:00.  While we were waiting a group of about 90 LDS  people on a tour came too.  They were on a land tour.  We found out that they had been to Petra the same day we went.
