The captain came on the intercom this morning and told us that we could not dock at Georgetown because of rough water. The ship had to circle around to the other side of the island. We took a tender to shore and then got on a bus that took us to Georgetown.
We did not have a shore excursion today. Instead we just walked around the main part of town. We stopped at a little out door cafe for a small bite to eat and have a diet coke. The man that was running the cafe was very friendly. The funny thing about our lunch was the chicken that was walking around looking for food.
Soon it was time to catch the bus back to the dock. It was just nice to get off the ship for a little while.
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -Mark Twain
