Day 16 - Southampton, England

We have traveled back to Southampton where the end of this portion of the cruise was finished.

While the ship was busy helping passengers off and new passengers on, Dennis had purchased us tickets for a tour to Stonehenge and Salisburg.

This was going to be our last tour in England. It was hard for us to know that this part of our trip was over.

We really enjoyed the walking tour around Stonehenge. They still don't have an answer to why it was made. They do know that it was first constructed about 5,050 years ago.

We stopped in Salisburg to look at the cathedral. We didn't pay to go in but enjoyed looking at it's impressive exterior.

We almost lost Dennis when it was time to leave on the bus. He was the last one back to the bus. The poor guy was carrying a couple of heavy bags. He had been successful in finding us Diet Coke to take back to the ship.

That evening when we went down to dinner there was only our new group of 11 where the night before had been 47. We really do miss the others.
