"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -Mark Twain

(Day #38) Dunedin, NZ

Today was a easy day in Dunedin.  We took the free shuttle into town.  The ride was about 20 to 30 minutes.
The shuttle bus dropping off point was right across the street from the Cadbury factory.  This is where we wanted to go.

It is Saturday and the factory only does "shorten tours" on weekends.  We were able to get in with a small group of people. We could not take any pictures except at the end of the tour.  The guide even locked up our bags and purses.  It was a fun tour and we learned a few new things.   I had wanted to see how candy bars were made but it wasn't on the tour. The guide did give us some samples.

Of course the tour ended in the gift shop.  There were rows of Cadbury bars that we had never heard of plus ones we have seen before.  The package labeled Pebbles looked like M & M's.

After we finished shopping we walked up the street to a public market.  We decided that there wasn't anything else
we wanted to do in town so we took the shuttle back to the ship.

Our view from the ship looks over the loading dock.  It was amazing to watch the orange tractors move the
cargo trailers.  The driver sits in a small cab on top of the tractor.
Tomorrow is Oban.

Mom (Sharon) loves keeping up with you guys, and so do I.
