Remembering Our Grand Cruise

Here are a few things that made our vacation fun:

1. How much we enjoyed having Sharon with us!!!!

2. We really enjoyed our veranda or balcony. Dennis liked to do his reading out there. We all loved watching as the ship was pulling in or out of a port. We were able to watch beautiful sunsets from there.


3. We all read at least 8 books.

4. Sharon and I did puzzle books.

5. Sharon's sewing projects.


6. Cher's sewing projects.




7. Sharon and I had a lot of talks about trying to remember our growing up years. (Tippy the dog?)

8. Dennis had rules about bedtime.

9. Hugo the walker and Hazel the cane.

10. We gave some people "names".

j. Carrie and Carrie's mother

11. We got a good extension plug and frig.

12. U.S.A. Diet Cokes taste better than other countries that had Coke Light and Zero Coke. We were mighty GRATEFUL for them though.

13. We had two 11/11/08 Tuesdays one week.

14. Zulu our cabin steward. His real name is Zulkarnaini.

15. Cruise Specialists - Tom and Ellen.

16. Our tour stickers for about 2/3 of our tours. Zulu kept throwing them away at first.

17. We enjoyed plates of cookies that we would bring down to our cabin every day.

18. Ice Cream was a hit with everyone on the ship. We would have some in a bowl or in a waffle cone after meals. Sharon and Dennis like Rum Raisin ice cream.

19. Cher FINALLY won at Bingo.
