We only had about 5 1/2 hours to be at Maui. We lost some of that time waiting for the tender to take us to shore. The tenders were running really slow because of the hard rain and big waves.
Once we got to shore we got on our tour bus and went to the Maui Ocean Center.
Our second place to visit was at the Maui Tropical Plantation.
As soon as we were finish there, the bus driver drove us back to Lahaina. Because we would have to get right back on the tender, he drove the bus down the main street of Lahaina so that we could at least see it. We did get to see the large banyan tree.
That was the last of our tours. The next stop will be San Diego and then on home.
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -Mark Twain
