Sometimes it gets so confusing. Like today, it is 11/11/08 and tomorrow will be 11/11/08 again.
While we were in Seattle, we enjoyed seeing the leaves starting to change colors because it was FALL. For the next six nights the ship had us move our clocks backwards one hour each time which added another hour to our time.
On September 25th we crossed the INTERNATIONAL DATELINE. This meant that we lost a whole day.
On October 22nd we crossed the EQUATOR. This meant that instead of FALL, we would be visiting countries where it was SPRING time. The countries had lots of sunshine and beautiful flowers.
Since we left Sydney, the ship has us move our clocks forward one hour three times. This takes a hour away from our time.
Today we crossed the INTERNATIONAL DATELINE again which is why we have two November 11th.
On November 13th we will cross the EQUATOR again. We will be leaving SPRING behind and once again have FALL. I am sure that there will be more turning of the clocks forward before we reach San Diego.
I hope you understood all of that.
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -Mark Twain
