Aomori, Japan

Today was a great day. We traveled from Hakodate to Aomori. This is the stop added to our trip after we couldn't go to Russia.

We saw a part of the tracks that the bullet train travels on.

The first stop that we went to was where they store floats from the Aomori Nebuta Festival. Wow, these floats were different from anything I have seen before. We keep asking about Pokemon and they tell us that is old stuff. We can find all the Hello Kitty stuff but not Pokemon. They also sold some of the most beautiful apples and round pears.

We saw people harvest rice. It was very interesting.

The last stop was to visit the largest Buddha in Japan.

Happy Birthday Kristy.
