"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -Mark Twain

Things I want to Remember about Vietnam

Things I want to remember about Vietnam......

1. The motorbikes are everywhere!!!!
2. They had little store in front of a lot of their houses.
3. There were a lot of red and blue plastic tables and chairs where people would stop for coffee.
4. Some of these coffee stores also had hammocks so that people could take a nap.
5. 70% of the people in Vietnam practiced Buddhism, 10% Roman Catholic, 2% Protestant, and the rest of them practiced Taoism and Confucianism.
6. If there was a Buddha statue and then a building it was called a pagoda. If there was no Buddha statue but just a building, then it was called a temple.
7. They had very few retirement homes for the elderly people. They kept their grandparents in their home.
8. If you don't have enough money to pay up front for the hospital or doctor, then you are just sent home to die.
9. They drive on the same side of the road that we do.
