Our tour that we went on could be called a comedy of errors. First of all the minicoachs got to the port late. In all of our other tours we have had a driver, a guide, and a person that assists everyone on and off the bus. Well not this time!
Our driver was all three in one. The driver could not get the door to open or close so he finally just pushed the door closed and dead bolted us in. There were two minicoachs on this tour and ours had to follow the other bus. As the driver was driving he now turns on his microphone. It does not work. He starts pushing all the buttons to get to come on.

So picture this: As we are going down the road our driver is trying to keep up with the other minicoach, he has us dead bolted in, he is pushing buttons to get the microphone to work, and all the while he keeps hitting the curb. If it hadn't been so funny, we would have asked to go back to the port. By the time our seven hour tour was finished he did get the microphone and door to work correctly.



Australia is such a change from all the other countries we have been to. There were wide open spaces and everything looked so clean. We went by beautiful beaches on our way to Yanchep National Park. It is spring-time in Australia and we were delighted to see different kinds of flowering bushes and trees.



While we at the park we went on a broad walk and saw koalas in the trees. We watched a Aboriginal Cultural program. I took a picture of the guys doing a aborigine dance. We had a picnic lunch.




As we were leaving the park, we saw kangaroos in wooden area.


We had a stop at Kings Park. At this point we had a wonderful view of Perth and Fremantle. Our last stop was at Lake Monger where we were able to see black swans.



The houses that we saw reminded me of America's rambler with red tile roofs. All most everything else had the British influence. They drive on the left side of the road. In the early days, Britain used Australia as a penal colony. They sent their convicts to penitentiaries there or used the convicts to do labor.



There is a Mormon temple in Perth but we didn't get to see it.
